Source to Sea needs 6 Field Team Rangers!
Full-time, fixed-term contract to May 2022, Dunedin based

About the role
Reporting to the Source to Sea Field Supervisor, you will:
· Work as part of a team of six to undertake weed control, planting and plant maintenance
· Commit to ensuring the team succeeds with all tasks, duties and projects
· Gain conservation skills, qualifications and experience through the training and development plan
· Provide information to the Field Supervisor as needed
We are looking for team players who can demonstrate:
· A high level of physical fitness and be able to work in rugged and remote outdoor environments carrying heavy pack weights
· Experience and a passion for the outdoors, native plants and wildlife
· Hardiness and willingness to work in all weather
· Outstanding team member qualities; collaboration, active listening and problem solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills with an ability to relate to a range of people
· Safety awareness and have some knowledge and experience working with NZ Health and Safety legislation
Preferably, applicants will also:
· Hold a full, clean NZ Drivers Licence.
· Have some experience in conservation field work, preferably within a New Zealand context
· Intermediate knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office and GPS units
